How to submit Reprographic Permissions requests

To copy, photocopy or in any way reproduce part of a Juta & Co publication, you must apply for permission to do so. This applies to text, images, illustrations or diagrams as they appear in the Juta & Co publication. Reprographic permissions requests are in compliance to the Copyright Act 98 of 1978, and our contractual agreements with authors. This is done to ensure that our authors’ intellectual property rights are protected.

Who should I contact about text permission requests?

If you want to use text excerpts from a Juta & Co publication, please complete an application for reprographic permission or fill in online and send it to permissions@juta.co.za

How should photocopying permission requests be applied for?

If you want to reproduce parts of a Juta & Co publication, please send your request to The Dramatic Artists' and Literary Rights Organisation (DALRO), who manages photocopying permission requests on our behalf. Complete the application for reprographic permission or fill in online and send it to dalro@dalro.co.za.

DALRO will review your application in relation to usage parameters and the legal framework and will then provide you with a quote.
