Juta and Company recently hosted the third installment of its new series of events entitled #JutaTalkingPoints at the Future Space International Arbitration Centre in Sandton.
These curated events are geared at bringing together a host of industry leading academics, legal practitioners and political players from across the country to discuss a variety of current issues such as the Copyright Ammendment Bill, Alternative Dispute Resolution and most recently Land Expropriation.
Adding to the debate at the Perspectives on Land Expropriation panel discussion was NWU Associate Professor in Law Elmien du Plessis, ANC NEC Member Ronald Lamola, SERI Director of Litigation Nomzamo Zondo, Partner in Public Law practice Mzukisi Kota and Power987 Political Editor Hajra Omarjee who served as the panel chair.
We would like to thank all of the panellists and guests who helped us elevate the debate around this contentious topic as well as everyone who attended on the evening and shared their thoughts and opinions.
