Juta sponsors SLSJ National Congress

The congress, which was held at the Stay City Conference Centre in Johannesburg this past weekend, was marked as a great success by newly appointed SLSJ President Tinotenda Muringani. "We managed to identify and engage on many policy matters which we had previously been unable to do. We also identified a space that SLSJ can function and adopt a revision document and new constitution for the organisation", said Muringani.

The conference was marked as a great success and was attended by many delegates

One of the highlights of the weekend long event was a special keynote address during the opening dinner of the congress by renowned human rights lawyer, Advocate George Bizos. We wish the new leadership at SLSJ well and look forward to reviewing the resolutions undertaken at the congress once they become available.
