ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Leana Uys (deceased) obtained a doctoral degree in psychiatric nursing at the University of the Free State. She was a B-rated researcher with the National Research Foundation.
Lyn Middleton obtained a PhD in psychiatric nursing at the University of KwaZulu- Natal. She is currently serving as the Regional Nursing Advisor for the ICAP Columbia University Coordinating Center for the PEPFAR funded Nursing Education Partnership Initiative (NEP) in sub-Saharan Africa.
